Based on the British Air Force specifications, while faithfully reproducing the mil-spec of the time, the case diameter has been updated to 38mm. The case and case back are made of 316L stainless steel. The domed acrylic crystal has been reproduced to give it an antique feel. Equipped with a Swiss quartz movement, the product is durable enough for modern use. The luminous paint on the numbers, indices, and hands of the dial uses "LumiNova (R)" paint, which is only permitted for use in Swiss watches, and its luminosity and duration are enhanced compared to regular luminous paint. With 5 ATM water resistance, it can be used sufficiently for daily water-related tasks and work.
*The dial is matte black.

"Naval watch swiss" is a brand from Picard & Cie. based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the heart of the Swiss watch industry. Picard & Cie. was founded in 1848 by MEYER FERES in Hauterive, Switzerland.

In 1918 and 1919, the Davoine magazine (a Swiss watch industry history magazine) recorded it as the most valuable repeater mechanism watch manufacturer, a watch manufacturer using various shapes and materials, and a manufacturer producing watches equipped with luminous dials essential for military watches.

Since 2013, the brand has been revived by Picard & Cie., and new NAVAL WATCH collections with vintage and military design motifs have been released.
