Based on U.S. Army specifications, the original mil-spec has been faithfully reproduced while updating the sizing, expanding the case diameter to 38mm. The case and case back are made of 316L stainless steel. The acrylic domed crystal has been revived to give it an antique feel. Equipped with a Swiss-made quartz movement with a date function, the product is built to withstand modern use in terms of functionality. The luminous paint on the numerals, indices, and hands on the dial uses "LumiNova (R)" paint, which is only permitted for use in Swiss-made watches, enhancing both the duration and intensity of its glow compared to regular luminous paint. Additionally, vintage-colored luminous paint is used, and "H3" and "radioactive material mark (no radioactive materials are actually used)" are added to create a design that evokes a sense of the past. With a 5 ATM water resistance, it is perfectly suitable for daily water-related tasks and work.

"Naval Watch Swiss" is a brand from La Chaux-de-Fonds, the heart of the Swiss watch industry, by Picard & Cie. Picard & Cie. was founded in 1848 by MEYER FERES in Hauterive, Switzerland.

In 1918 and 1919, it was documented in the Davoine journal (a historical journal of the Swiss watch industry) as one of the most valuable repeater mechanism watch manufacturers, a watch manufacturer using various shapes and materials, and a manufacturer producing watches with luminous dials, which are essential for military watches.

In 2013, the brand was revived by Picard & Cie., and new NAVAL WATCH collections featuring vintage and military design motifs were released.
